At CrossFit Dwell, your first few months is all about learning, gaining confidence, and feeling supported. You don’t have to be “in shape” to start. You just have to show up, be willing to try, and trust the process.

Here are 5 things you can expect in your first 90 days of CrossFit:


1. You Will Receive Personalized Coaching Every Time You Come

One of the biggest differences between CrossFit and a regular gym is the coaching.

You don’t have to figure out what to do on your own. Every class is led by a coach who will guide you through the entire hour from warm-up to cool-down. You’ll be shown how to do each movement correctly and safely. And everything is scaled to your current fitness level.

Never lifted weights before? No problem.

Haven’t worked out in years? You’re not alone.

At CrossFit Dwell, we meet you where you are. Your coach will offer modifications if something feels too challenging and help you push when you’re ready.

In your first few month, you’ll start to feel more confident moving your body in new ways.

In your first few weeks, you won’t be expected to do anything fancy. You’ll start with the fundamentals.

  • How to pace yourself in a workout

We take things slow and focus on technique before speed or weight. The goal is not to do it “perfectly” the first time. It is to build a strong foundation and to celebrate small wins along the way.


3. You Will Meet Friendly, Encouraging People

It’s normal to feel nervous walking into a new gym. But here’s something that surprises a lot of people: most CrossFit gyms aren’t full of elite athletes. They’re full of regular people who just want to feel better, get stronger, and stay healthy.

At CrossFit Dwell, you’ll meet men and women of all ages, sizes, and fitness backgrounds. Some are in their 20s, and others are in their 60s. Some have been doing CrossFit for years, while others just started like you.

That’s completely normal. Almost everyone is nervous in the beginning. In fact, that is what kept me from starting for a long time!
