Small Habit Changes Bring Results

When we meet with potential clients, one of the first questions we ask them is “What are your fitness goals?” The answers usually are along these lines:

  1. I want to lose weight.
  2. I want to get more toned.
  3. I want to be stronger.
  4. I want to be healthy for my kids.

Many of them have not exercised for many years, and they are starting to see the effects. Poor movement. Low endurance. Lack of strength. These are just a few of the symptoms of a body that is struggling. Some of them have even had health scares such a pre-diabetes and cardiac issues.

  • 3-4 class workouts each week that include functional movements, cardio endurance, lifting weights, etc
  • Moderately paced walking each day
  • Eating adequate protein
  • Eating mainly whole, real foods in the proper quantities (calories matter)
  • Drinking plenty of water
  • Getting adequate sleep
  • Stress management

The truth is that all of these changes won’t be accomplished overnight. They may take months to implement. However, making incremental changes over time will create a stronger, more toned, healthier body.
