FLEX ’em Fitness: Your Saturday Morning Reset

If you’ve ever wanted a workout that makes you feel stronger, move better, and still leaves you with plenty of energy for the rest of the day, this is it.

Our new specialty course, FLEX ’em Fitness, is coming to help you build strength, improve your mobility, and master your form, all in 30 minutes or less. This isn’t about going all-out, gasping for air, or pushing your body past its limits. It’s about training smart, taking care of your body, and getting results that last.

Whether you’re brand new to fitness, coming back after a break, or already active, if you want to improve your movement, this course is for you.


What is FLEX ’em Fitness?

The name says it all. FLEX stands for:

  • Flexibility (along with mobility, so your body moves the way it’s meant to)
  • Lower Intensity Exercises (to protect your joints, improve mechanics, and build strength without beating yourself up)

And the ’em? Well, that’s the fun part. It’s a reminder of everything this class is about:

  • Embrace the grind.
  • Empower your body.
  • Energize your mind and body with exercise.
  • Elevate your fitness because it matters.
  • Embody strength and resilience.
  • Emphasize proper form.

Every time you come to this class, you will be checking off more than one of those “em” goals.


How the Class Works

Each FLEX ’em Fitness session will be 30 minutes or less and led by our very own Coach Keo.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Lower Intensity Interval Training — This isn’t “easy,” but it’s controlled. You will work through intervals of movement that are designed to build strength, improve cardio health, and challenge your muscles without the high-impact pounding that some workouts bring.
  • Form & Mechanics First — Every movement is coached and adjusted so that your form is spot-on. This means you will protect your joints, avoid injury, and actually get the most out of each exercise.
  • Low Impact Resistance Training — You will use your own body weight, bands, or light equipment to build strength in a way that’s joint-friendly and effective.
  • For Every Level — Whether you are new to the gym, recovering from an injury, or just wanting to move without the “go-go-go” pace of high-intensity classes, this is a safe, smart option for you.

We’re offering a 5-week FLEX ’em Fitness course this fall:

And the best part? You do NOT have to be a member of CrossFit Dwell to join. This is open to everyone in the community who wants to move better, feel stronger, and enjoy a safe, supportive workout environment.
